New Clients – Initial Consultation

Your Initial Consultation will be maximum 60 minutes. During this time, your practitioner will take notes about your health history, suggest the appropriate lab tests you should order to address your specific health concerns, and make some recommendations for you regarding nutrition, movement, and sleep/stress. If, before the appointment, we determine that our services are inappropriate for you, we have the discretion to cancel your appointment and provide a full refund.

Please complete intake form in as much detail as possible and return to hello@katiemarie.com.au 48 hours before your scheduled initial consultation. If you fail to do this then the time take to complete this information required will deduct from your 60-minute initial consultation appointment.

Purchasing Products & Services

Appointment fees are as outlined on the website (katiemarie.com.au) and are current at the time of booking. 50% deposit payment is due at the time of booking via one of the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, or Direct Debit, 50% balance is due at time of your appointment. By placing an order via the website, you are offering to purchase Products or Services (as applicable) from Katie Marie subject to these Terms and Conditions. Each order you place will be a separate and binding contractual agreement between you and Katie Marie and with respect to the supply of the Products or Services in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. You agree that Katie Marie reserves the right in its sole discretion to accept or reject any order and that orders are subject to the availability of the relevant Products or Services.

All prices are quoted in AUD and are subject to change without further notice.

The User now understands that in purchasing a bundled program package on the website, you are taking advantage of a discount rate by paying for appointments included in package up front in one total package payment. Appointments included in this package will be scheduled at your first initial consultation appointment. If you choose to change or cancel your appointment then 48 hours’ notice period applies as per Client Re-scheduling section of theses T&C’s.

Delivery of Products & Services

Your responsibility is to ensure your device is technically suitable to download the Products before placing an order. Katie Marie takes no responsibility where the Products fail to download to your device due to a technical error, and if you encounter a technical error in attempting to download the Products, don’t hesitate to contact Katie Marie at hello@katiemarie.com.au for assistance.

For services purchased on katiemarie.com.au, you may be required to schedule an appointment with Katie Marie to provide the purchased Services (“Appointment”). If that is the case, you can schedule an appointment using the “Amelia” third-party online booking feature or by emailing hello@katiemarie.com.au.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, you must provide Katie Marie with 48 hours’ notice in writing on hello@katiemarie.com.au; otherwise, you will permanently forfeit the right for Katie Marie to give the purchased Services. If purchased services are not used within 6 (183 days) months of the purchase date, you forfeit the right to use them.


You can book a follow-up consultation for either 30 – 45 minutes. Katie Marie will indicate which duration will be required at the prior appointment. We encourage you to book your appointment 1- 2 weeks in advance. As a courtesy, you will receive an appointment reminder via email to remind you of your scheduled appointment.

Lab Tests

If you do not have a follow-up consultation and lab results are received, you will be contacted and asked to schedule a follow-up consultation. If you have the right to request a copy of your lab results, please allow a reasonable response time from Katie Marie Nutrition.

Rescheduling by Provider

If we need to reschedule your appointment, we will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible and require you to select an alternative appointment time. If you decide not to reschedule, the Cancellation and refund policy will apply.

Rescheduling by Client

For Initial Consultations, you may request to reschedule your appointment date and time a minimum of 48 hours before your appointment to receive a full refund, minus any transaction fees. There will be no refund for rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance.

For all other appointments, if you cannot keep your scheduled appointment, you can reschedule your appointment via the online booking tool at any time up until 48 hours before your appointment without charge. The cancellation and refund policy will apply if you fail to reschedule your appointment within the required notice period (48hrs).

Cancellations and Refunds

If you cannot keep your scheduled appointment and do not wish to reschedule, you must cancel your appointment via the online booking tool or notify us via email a minimum of 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time to receive a full refund, minus any transaction fees. If you fail to cancel your appointment with the required notice, you will forfeit your booked appointment and any cost already incurred and will not be eligible for a refund.

The User now understands that purchasing a bundled program package on the website, you are taking advantage of a discount rate by paying for appointments included in package up front in one total package payment. If you wish to withdraw from this package and cancel at any time from 6 days before commencement or during the program then any refund provided will be at the discretion of Katie Marie and moneys owing will calculated fairly at the full price of each service included and already completed minus administration fee ($30) and transaction fees. The Tailored Health & Nutrition Program on the Website offers a 7-day refund policy you decide to cancel seven days before commencement

Consultations and Programs at Katie Marie are non-transferrable.

Missed appointments

We understand that there can be a rare occasion where you miss your appointment or forget to inform us at least 48 hours in advance that you need to reschedule. As such, for those on a monthly follow-up support package or subscription, you are allowed 1 “Get Out of Jail Free” when you’ve missed an appointment. For all other bookings, missed appointments will result in forfeiting your booked appointment and any cost already incurred and will not be eligible for a refund.

Preparation for appointment

Technology – General

It is your responsibility to:

  • set up technology and ensure all appliances are charged and in working order;
  • set up the applications required on your phone or laptop to complete the consultation; this includes but is not limited to Zoom;
  • ensure you have reliable and sufficient internet or phone connection or reception;
    provide any other technology-related requirements (hardware or software) are available and in working order before the appointment;

Failure to follow these instructions may result in forfeiture of your appointment time and fee.

Technology – Zoom Appointments (both Australian Domestic and International)

A Zoom meeting will be created when you schedule an appointment(s). You must ensure it is downloaded and tested before your appointment(s). If you cannot access Zoom for your appointment, please email hello@katiemarie.com.au, and alternate arrangements can be made. Failure to follow these instructions may result in forfeiture of your appointment time and fee. For Zoom meetings, you will receive the appointment link at the time of booking, this is also located in reminder emails, and it is your responsibility to attend this at your appointment time.

Intake Forms

You are required to complete your consultation documents or other requested documents within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment, we will not be able to proceed with your appointment, and you will need to reschedule. If so, the Rescheduling by Client and Cancellations and Refunds policies will apply.

Time Zone Differences

All appointments are made and will transpire using the Australian Western Time Zone (UTC +8:00). If you do not reside in this time zone, it is your responsibility to ensure you select the correct time zone in the booking tool and accurately convert the time change not to miss your appointment(s). http://www.timeanddate.com/ Failure to provide an accurate time zone conversion will result in forfeiture of your appointment time and fee.

Governing Law

The validity, interpretation, and construction of this Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Western Australia, Australia, with the sole jurisdiction and venue of any dispute being Perth, Western Australia. The client further agrees to be bound by the laws in Western Australia even if the country’s laws in which the client resides conflict with the laws of Western Australia in accordance with the Fair-Trading Act 2010 and related statutes.

Other Documents

These terms and conditions are to be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy and the Informed Consent and Disclaimer signed before becoming a client.

Intellectual Property

The Intellectual Property in the website and all Content (“Website IP”) and Products (“Products IP”) is exclusively owned and controlled by Katie Marie and our third-party affiliates, licensors, or licensees and is protected by Australian and international law governing intellectual property rights. The Website IP and Products IP remain Katie Marie’s exclusive property worldwide. You are not permitted to save, download, reproduce, display, copy, alter, conceal, adapt, perform, transmit, broadcast, sell, license, or otherwise exploit any Website IP unless you have the express prior written authorisation of Katie Marie.

For Products and client resources purchased via the website or emailed to you (the client or customer), you will have a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-assignable right to view and use the Products, and for Products obtained through digital download via the website, display one copy of the Products on a device of your choosing, for private, domestic and non-commercial purposes only.


Subject to the application of any Non-Excludable Conditions, Users now release Katie Marie from all claims, and Katie Marie is not responsible nor liable for any injury, illness, direct or indirect damage, loss (financial, reputation, or otherwise), or consequential, exemplary or aggravated damages arising from:

  • your use of, or inability to use, the website;
  • your use of, or reliance on, the Products, Services, or Content;
  • any User Content that is created or otherwise appears via the website;

Any failure by Katie Marie of other third parties to provide any information, service, feature, or functionality via the website; and your use of third-party services (including any sharing to third- party websites) in conjunction with the website.

Users now acknowledge and confirm that they are on notice of Katie Marie’s disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability outlined in this clause or elsewhere in these Terms and Conditions (“Disclaimers & Limitations”) and expressly agree to these Disclaimers and Limitations as a condition of using the website.

Katie Marie is not a medical doctor and does not service medical emergencies or diagnoses. The Products, Services, and Content must not be used or relied on as a substitute for medical, healthcare, or other relevant professional advice or the purpose of diagnosis or treatment of any medical condition.
